This is a story about Kevin Plank, the founder of the popular global brand “Under Armour.”
He was kicked out of high school during his teens due to poor grades and bad behavior. All throughout his early 20s he was broke with nowhere to go.
He then joined the football team of the university of Maryland and often was frustrated about sweating so much.
He worked endless hours trying to come up with an idea that would stand out from the rest. He then maxed out his credits cards to work on his idea for moisture wicking shirts. It took him 2 long years of working out of his grandmother’s basement but he never gave up and now he is worth over 1.8 BILLION DOLLARS.
