The founder of Walmart
This is the success story of a triumphant entrepreneur and the founder of Walmart retail stores, Sam Walton. ????
Born and raised in a humble background, Sam’s father was a farmer and made just enough money to put food on the table for him and his siblings. At one point his father realized that farming wasn’t making sufficient money so he decided to shift to farm mortaging. ????????
Afterwards, they had to keep relocating because of the lack of greener pastures and they finally settled down in Missouri. His family experienced depression all throughout Sam’s childhood due to their financial difficulties but Sam looked at them in a different perspective. ????
He sold newspapers and magazines as a way to make ends meet. He was always smart and went on to obtain a college degree in economics. ????☄
Despite being broke, he first decided to venture out on his own after obtaining a loan from his father in law and with that money he bought his first retail store. His idea back then of reducing prices and making up for the profits in volume was a huge success. This was what made him unique and successful from the other big retail stores. ????????
